Analysis of the development of organic pigment industry
With the rapid growth of printing, coatings, plastics, fiber and other related industries at home and abroad, the development of China's organic pigment industry has been greatly promoted. In 2002, the output of organic pigments in China reached about 80,000 tons. In 2004, the total output of organic pigments in China was 143,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.7%. During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, the annual output of organic pigments in China continued to be between 180,000 and 220,000 tons. In 2010, China's organic pigment production reached 224,000 tons, accounting for about 40% of the world's total output. In 2011, China's organic pigment production was 210,000 tons, down 6.2% year-on-year, of which exports were 150,000 tons, down 2.7% year-on-year. Exports earned 1.18 billion US dollars, up 15.8% year-on-year, and imports were 19,000 tons, up -17.3% year-on-year. In 2012, China's organic pigment production was 210,000 tons, which was the same as in 2011. Among them, the export volume of organic pigments and products was 144,000 tons, down 3.4% year-on-year. The export of organic pigments and products earned US$1.11 billion, down 6.2% year-on-year. In 2013, China's organic pigment production was 211,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.48%.
Organic pigments are a class of pigments made from organic compounds that possess a range of pigment properties, such as color and color. Pigment properties include lightfastness, water immersion resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, organic solvent resistance, heat resistance, crystal stability, dispersibility and hiding power. Organic pigments are commonly used in the coloring of inks, coatings, rubber products, plastic products, cultural and educational materials and building materials. The National Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan of the Dye Industry pointed out that it is necessary to focus on the development of high-grade organic pigments, implement research and breakthroughs in core common technologies, and improve the overall level of the dye industry, especially catalytic technology, which is the development of current dyes and organic pigments in clean production processes. The fastest green manufacturing technology. Therefore, the government's policy support and active investment will support the technology research and development of the industry to increase the industrial scale of organic pigments.
